There are four types of espresso machines. Super Automatic, Semi-Automatic, Manual and Capsule. Deciding which type is right for you is a
personal decision, based on your coffee making habits and preferences. So, welcome and happy shopping!
| Super Automatics |
These sophisticated machines do it all. They grind, tamp, pre-infuse and brew your espresso shot, and they dispose of the used grinds. They
offer various level of programmable features, self-cleaning functions, automated milk-frothing devices and many other advanced capabilities.
|
| Semi-Automatics |
In these machines water is delivered by a pump rather than by manual force, and the remaining brew pressure in the basket
is dissipated with a three way valve. Coffee grinding, dosing and tamping is done manually, and brew volume is controlled manually.
|
| Manual Machines |
These are typically ornate machines, made of materials such as brass, copper, chrome, and occasionally silver. There are two types of
manual lever machines; manual piston and spring piston design.
|
| Capsule Machines |
These machines boast hassle-free and mess-free easy operation with single-serving disposable capsules, which are pre-packaged and sold separately.
